Grandstand Level Three Update
By: Mark Nowell @MarkANowell
The Waikato Racing Club is pleased to reveal that the renovation of Level 3 of the International Stand at Te Rapa race course is progressing well.
The latest improvements are another example of the Club's intention to modernise its facilities following on from the refurbishment of the Kentucky Lounge on Level 2.
The Club is committed to providing race-goers with a contemporary race-day experience at Te Rapa in association with its new caterer, Wildtribe.
Under the able project management of Fosters Maintain, the Level 3 refurbishment is anticipated to be open and ready for the Waikato Racing meeting on Wednesday 20 September.
With spring and summer racing upon us, the Club is confident that Level 3 will be the place to be on any race day.
The removal of the aging corporate suites will see one ultra-modern function room on Level 3, with panoramic views over the race course and the parade ring.
The room can be configured to satisfy various consumer needs and will be a premier venue in the Waikato events scene.
As the 2016/17 racing season draws to a close, the Waikato Racing Club looks ahead with plenty of optimism as a new season dawns.
